RUK Li-Ion Safety Box M
The Li-Ion Safety Box M is the larger box, 600 × 600 × 450 mm, for several tool batteries and compact power stations. Monitoring, power cut-off and suppression stay inside the closed system.

The square footprint of Box M belongs in the warehouse, production or a larger workshop, where several batteries charge at once. Inside there is room for tool packs side by side.
- Automatic extinguishing systemIn critical conditions, the box independently releases extinguishing and cooling agents.
- Monitored chargingCritical heat build-up is detected and the power supply is cut.
- Pressure reliefIn the event of an incident, the pressure that builds up is released in a controlled way — the housing stays closed and the incident remains confined to the interior.

Passive storage or an active safety system?
Charging several packs loose on the floor is not a system. The larger Box M holds tool batteries and a compact power station in one monitored chamber.

Box M is compared with a passive cabinet that has no suppression. It too requires the closed state. The basis is the same TÜV NORD principle M 02-2022, not a blanket pass of every building code.
