RUK Li-Ion Safety Box S
The Li-Ion Safety Box S is the narrow box, 600 × 400 × 450 mm, for e-bike batteries and compact tool packs. It monitors charging, cuts the power and suppresses inside the closed housing.

The narrow footprint of Box S fits a shelf, a container or the side of a bench. It typically holds one or two e-bike batteries or a crew's swappable tool packs.
- Automatic extinguishing systemIn critical conditions, the box independently releases extinguishing and cooling agents.
- Monitored chargingCritical heat build-up is detected and the power supply is cut.
- Pressure reliefIn the event of an incident, the pressure that builds up is released in a controlled way — the housing stays closed and the incident remains confined to the interior.

The difference
Passive storage or an active safety system?
A plain metal box does not deal with an e-bike battery. The narrow Box S monitors, cuts power and suppresses while the pack stays in the closed chamber.

Box S is assessed against passive cabinets with no monitoring. It only protects when fully closed. The basis is TÜV NORD test principle M 02-2022. It does not replace statutory fire rules.
